Description
The gate into Cades Cove does not open up until Sunrise so I try to be one of the first ones in line to head into the cove. Thankfully the sun has to get over the mountains which gives me a little time to get to my location and get my shot set up. On this particular morning I headed for the overlook towards the back of the cove and started shooting pictures as the sun rose over the mountains. The morning clouds made a great backdrop for the shot and the sunbeams peeking through the clouds seemed to make the pastures come to life.
