Mesa Arch is about an hour drive from any hotels and to get a good shot of the arch you have to arrive about an hour before sunrise to claim your spot near the arch along with all the other photographers. We left Moab Utah about 3:30am to make sure we got a good spot near the arch. It was a beautiful sunrise with clouds that added to the backdrop of the scene. This shot has been on my bucket list for a very long time. I was so blessed with a great sunrise on the day we got to visit the Arch!
