Artist's Description
We love taking pictures of this beautiful tree in the field across from Dan Lawson’s Cabin in Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains National Park. This particular evening, I decided to walk in the field beside the big tree and set up my camera to take a sunset picture. There were some dark clouds in the sky so I was not sure if I was going to get a sunset shot, but as the sun was setting it gave a beautiful glow to the entire tree and I knew it was time to start shootings.
